How are you preparing to go back to ‘normality’?
News|by Leanne Bevan|2 July 2020
As some industries prepare to open this weekend, remote working and reduced staffing levels will no doubt continue for many other organisations. And whilst there’s no fixed approach for going back to the office, we’re seeing businesses focus on two main areas.
The first is ensuring their workplaces are ready for a flexible, distributed workforce in the long term; we’re well and truly past the ‘make do and mend’ phase. For instance, we couldn’t go a day without Microsoft Teams which has become an essential part of our business process, used for group calls, collaboration and project management.
The second is re-igniting projects and driving consistent delivery; businesses and the wider economy have clearly taken a hit over the last few months, but customer demand is still there, and projects need to be delivered. We have been helping IT teams to modernise their infrastructure by moving to or saving costs Azure and enabling developers to adopt best practices by migrating to Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Here are some of the other ways we’ve been helping customers with the challenges they face:
- Cloud migrations to increase scalability
- Training to optimise productivity
- Security solutions to keep businesses safe
- Remote working solutions to boost business continuity
- Mobile device management to maximise flexibility
- Indoor mapping tools for space utilisation
